The meeting has begun. One questions the other.-So, what's new?-What?-What have you been up to?-In life?-Yes?-What do you mean?-How are you doing?-And you?-Me?
But does every question deserve to be asked? And is every question an uncertainty? Are there good questions? Bad questions? Yes or no? If yes, why? If no, why not? What is a question? And what precedes a question? What to think? What to do now, in this confusion, in this predicament?
This state of perplexity requires us to stop here...
I stop, I go, I slow down or I speed up, I question myself, I stumble, I lose my footing, I lose my orientation. I make unseemly gesticulations for those who look at me, I say « monsieur » to a « madame », « madame » to a « monsieur », I hesitate, I falter, I question myself.
What is an answer? What does it look like? Is there movement in an answer? Music in an answer? And if we don't answer, what will come of it?
Thank you to our last minute guests...
For every time that Asuncion and Celeste are at the edge of the cliff, panicked, at their limit, there remains the strength to call forth those who are absent, lost, distant, loved. There are those who invite themselves, who are invited, called forth, summonned...
Where do they come from? Who are they? What are they about? Are they as they appear to be, as they allow us to believe? Do we not see them then? They are not just memories; they are present, there and not there. They don't question themselves...
Is this the beginning of peace or bait for another panic?
